I really love the area we live in. Just down the street the city opened a little pond that kids can fish in and also an area roped off for splashing in the water. It is really so close we could technically ride our bikes to it. So memorial day weekend we decided to take the kids over with grandma and grandpa to try a little fishing and splashing.
Austin had the only catch of the day. He had moved to the other side from us and caught a fish. It was so funny because he comes running over with the fish dangling on the end of the pole and says "hurry get it off so I don't have to eat it!" He knows that the rule from me is if you kill an animal you eat it! Ha Ha! He was not interested in eating that fish. Luckily for him the fish was fine and swam away!
Zach and Kate were just interested in playing in the sand and water.
