Mother's day weekend (you know it should be the whole weekend, not just Sunday) started out great! Luke and Kate both had programs at school. They did an awesome job, I am so proud of them. I could tell they were just so proud to be up there performing.

On Saturday I was able to start my first garden. It was fun to pick plants with the kids and we are keeping our fingers crossed for something to grow. Sunday was great. Brent got up with Zach (he has been getting up at 6 everyday--ready to go) so I slept in until 8 and then the kids brought me breakfast in bed. I also did not have to do one dish--truly relaxing. They made me fun cards and I got a basket for my bike and a sewing encyclopedia--yes I planted those gifts in every one's mind for about a month. It was funny though, Brent knew what I wanted, but he still said "sorry to ask, but where do I find this book that you want." Men are so funny! I guess he didn't want to go on a wild goose chase if he didn't have to!
