I just got called to be an Activity Day leader in our new ward. I only have to come up with an activity once a month, which is really nice. So this week was my turn. I wanted to do something for fathers day so we made a candy/caramel type popcorn, packaged them into bread bags you can buy at the grocery store and added the tag that read "Your one super pop".

Here is the recipe for the popcorn (found on little momma and co. blog):
12 cups popcorn--remove unpopped kernels
combine following in a sauce pan
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter
1/4 cup light corn syrup
boil for 2 minutes
stir in
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
food coloring
poor over popcorn in large bowl
spread on parchment paper to cool
And by the way I am super excited--see the "S"--I got a new toy, the Cricut. I got the smaller machine--it was on sale at Walmart and I knew I could never part with the money to buy the full sized machine. I decided that the machine was a necessity, not a want--with 4 kids and school projects and loving to be crafty I had to have it! Can't wait to use it more!
